“You think a few sweet words are going to make me swoon for you?”
“You’re beautiful.” He said, still a laugh in his chest, and he leaned over to kiss her, the off-white bathroom wall supporting her sitting figure. “Absolutely lovely.” He mumbled into her lips and she hummed in agreement. He chuckled. “And swooning would be nice.” He added as an afterthought, but kissed her indulgently before another clever reply could escape her lips.
“Come one.” He mumbled into her lips, taking both her hands, and pulling them both onto their feet. “Let’s get you cleaned up. I can get room service to pick up the glass later.”
“Are you sure, because-” He hushed her with a mockingly dark look, and turned on the bathroom sink, letting the water run warm.
“Yes.” He said responded definitely, grasping her cut finger, running it under the gentle stream of tap-water. “Besides, I’m leaving on tour tomorrow morning, and I want to spend the rest of the night with my darling girlfriend.” He threw her a mischievous grin through the large bathroom mirror, wagging his eyebrows, then laughed at her reddening face. “Relax,” He said a moment later, handing her a nearby hotel room towel to dry her hand off. “It’ll just be a quiet evening. The two of us. Nothing over PG-thirteen.” He shot her a pointed, teasing, look.
